HEALTH AND WELLNESS
LEAD is always looking for dedicated medical practitioners, nurses, and students interested in supporting our community health fairs and baby wellness clinics. From curating medication and supplies to seeing patients, LEAD ensures everyone has access to adequate medical care. Additionally, we are looking for mental health practitioners who want to provide tangible tools to overcome the challenges our youth face.
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
From weekly virtual mentorship to summer leadership camps, LEAD is always recruiting industry professionals, college students, and teens to share their skills. Additionally, Riverton Youth Centre supports extracurriculars such as arts and crafts, games, fitness, and sewing for community members to take back their power and create positive change in their communnities.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
LEAD prioritizes responding quickly to the needs of our community partners. This includes building homes and providing fresh paint or refurbishing properties as needed. In addition, our community feeding program serves Riverton's most vulnerable individuals to ensure they are fed. Lastly, gardening efforts at all three sites we serve promote food sustainability.
